About

With over 11 years of professional DJ experience and more than 25 years as a devoted music listener, DJ Sunny brings deep musical knowledge, crowd-reading instincts, and high-energy performance to every event.

I got my start at 13, learning the ropes from seasoned DJs throughout New York City and the greater New York area before eventually stepping behind the decks myself. I spent eight years with Magic Sound Entertainment under the mentorship of DJ Magic Mike (https://www.magicmikedjs.com), where I focused primarily on weddings and gained extensive experience DJing and emceeing ceremonies and receptions. From there, I took my sound and skills into NYC nightclubs, which eventually led to a record deal with EMI Records producing Indian fusion music. I later owned a bar/lounge, further refining my ability to read diverse crowds in a dynamic late-night atmosphere. Over the years, I’ve stayed closely connected to current venues and evolving music scenes, continually sharpening my musical expertise while keeping my sound fresh with modern music — something I bring to every event and dance floor today.
